About the Club

Welcome to the Boys & Girls Club of Sparta! Our mission is to inspire and enable all young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.  In order to accomplish this mission, the Boys & Girls Club of Sparta provides:
  • A safe place to learn and grow
  • Ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals
  • Life-enhancing programs and character development experiences
  • Hope and opportunity  

Programs

Programs Instill:
A sense of competence - The feeling there is something boys and girls can do and do well
A sense of usefulness - The opportunity to do something of value for other people
A sense of belonging - A setting where young people know they fit in and are accepted
A sense of power or influence - A chance for members to be heard and to influence decisions

House of Shadows

Come visit one of the scariest and most elaborate haunted houses in the region! The House of Shadows is located on Osborne Drive in Sparta, and all proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Sparta.

Monday - Friday
2:30 - 6:30 pm
1:30-6:30 PM  Wednesdays
Club Closed on Snow Days
If schools let out early due to inclement weather, the Club will be open after dismissal until 3:30 PM

Summer Hours
June 9 - August 15
6:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday
12:30-5:30 - M, T, H, F - Drop in 

Open select hours for Teens only
Sept 19 - Club Closed
Sept 26 - Club Closed
Oct 3-31 - House of Shadows
Oct 24 - Trick or Treat Street - 5-7pm
