House of Shadows

The House of Shadows is one of the scariest, most elaborate haunted houses around. This ominous building was built in the 1930's and was used as an infirmary for a child care center for dependent and neglected youth. It was later used as a care center for the elderly. The House has long been rumored to really be haunted by spirits who can't find rest.

All proceeds from ticket sales at the House of Shadows benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Sparta. If you are feeling brave, come visit the House, located on Osborne Drive, just down the road from the Boys & Girls Club.

All guests can enjoy not so SCARY.

We suggest Very SCARY Guests 8 to 12 years old be escorted by adult.

Children be escorted by adult team, allow for plan if child(ren) need to escape from House early

Designate a meet area in case of separation

Not So Scary

Description:

This is the best option for the young or faint of heart. Characters will not jump out at you, and a flashlight will be provided. This is a great way for families with small children to enjoy the Halloween experience without being terrified.

Very Scary

Cost:

$15.00 per person

Time:

Starts at 6:00, tickets are limited each night. Tickets will be on sale until 10 or until sold out for the night, whichever happens first. We suggest guests 8 to 12 years old be escorted by adult.

Description:

We dare you to try this! Your heart will begin to race and you will want to turn back. You won't escape the thrill of each chamber as they get more and more twisted and bone-chilling. Your senses will become heightened and you may lose your way. Hopefully, you'll make it out...

Spook Pass

Starts at 6:30 pm. Limited amount of Spook Passes sold each night. First come-first serve

If you just can't wait to be terrified out of your mind, purchase a Spook Pass! You'll immediately go to the front of the line and won't have to wait. This is available during Very Scary hours.

Guest Hospitality

Concessions are available on site. Menu items include a variety of hot foods, snacks & beverages.

A covered tent may be available for shelter while waiting.

Alcohol is not permitted on the House of Shadows property or inside the house. Smoking & vaping are not permitted on the House of Shadows property or inside the house.

We encourage our guests to enjoy the energy and the company of one another while you get in the spirit of being SCARED!

Tickets are available at the ticket booth or online at www.houseofshadows.org . Cash and credit cards are accepted for tickets only. Visa, MasterCard, Discover & American Express. Checks are not accepted. Tickets are non-refundable.
