CAREER LAUNCH

Calling all teens. This is for you! Join us for three evenings for food, friends and fun - along with some tips on how to land and keep a job along with how to prepare and present your best self.

Career Launch includes fun and interactive activities that encourage career exploration, promote work skills and foster work-based learning experiences. Each participant receives a Teen Guide, which complements the program by offering tips on securing that first job, summer employment, internships and planning for postsecondary education or training - all to help their career success. 

This program is provided through the Boys & Girls Club of Sparta and is funded by the State Department of Children and Families. This highly acclaimed program boosts positive youth outcomes by increasing career preparedness. This summer, teens will explore a broad range of career areas, match their interests to career clusters and identify the skills and instruction needed for their career path. Additionally, there will be opportunities for teen participants to make friends and enjoy the Club’s recreation room, pool tables, gym and gaming stations. 

In addition, the Boys & Girls Club of Sparta will provide your teen a FREE membership to the Boys & Girls Club. Membership will be effective through next August.
