Parent Information

Parents play an integral role in ensuring their children enjoy their experiences at the Club. On this page, you'll find information about upcoming events, special things you need to know as a parent, as well as consent forms.

Late Parent Policy

It is important that all Club members are picked up on time. Members must be picked up promptly by the time the Club closes. Parents who are late will receive:

1st offense - verbal warning
2nd offense - written warning
3rd offense - one day Club suspension for children
4th offense - meeting with parent, child, and staff

Parent/Visitor Check-in

In an effort to keep our members safe from strangers wandering into the Club, a parent/visitor check-in policy has been initiated. We are asking for your help by stopping at the front desk, signing in, and picking up a visitor badge. Parents are welcome to come in and pick up their child; however, we would like parents identified as they enter the Club.

Parent Code

All parents agree to abide by this code when their child becomes a member of the Boys & Girls Club of Sparta:

I will not force my child to participate in any event he/she does not wish to participate in.
I will encourage my child to have good sportsmanship.
I will teach my child that effort is as important as victory.
I will remember that children learn best by example.
